Location: Riyadh - KSA Department: Research & Development Position Title: R&D Mechanical Engineer Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled R&D Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team. This role involves the design and development of new products, continuous improvement of existing ones, and hands-on technical problem solving. You’ll work collaboratively across departments to bring creative solutions to life, enhance product quality, and drive efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Lead mechanical design projects from concept to production, following best practices in engineering design. Develop and improve products through structured R&D processes and feasibility studies. Create detailed CAD models and prototypes using SolidWorks to communicate and validate design concepts. Optimize designs for performance, safety, cost, manufacturability, and quality. Solve production and customer-related issues through root cause analysis and data-driven methods. Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure project success. Define project goals, manage development activities, and monitor timelines and deliverables. Implement and maintain design standards and engineering procedures. Analyze product testing data and prepare technical documentation and reports. Ensure all designs meet local and international standards and regulations. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Design, Production, or Mechanical Power). Proficiency in SolidWorks for 2D/3D modeling of complex mechanical assemblies. Experience with a range of manufacturing processes and DFM principles. Understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and tolerance stack-up analysis. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Preferred Domain Knowledge: Experience in mechanical design for HVAC or commercial refrigeration systems (compressors, airflow systems, heat exchangers, etc.). Familiarity with thermal and CFD simulation tools such as ANSYS or SolidWorks Flow Simulation. Knowledge of material selection for HVAC environments (corrosion, vibration, thermal properties). Understanding of noise and vibration control techniques relevant to HVAC and refrigeration. Why Join Us?
