Job Description Purchasing Manager Core Purpose: To control the Raw Material, Packaging Material and miscellaneous items. Responsibilities: 1-Ensure the efficient and cost effective purchasing functions by ensuring that supplies, equipment and services are of acceptable quality, competitively priced and delivered timely. 2-Ensure the process, from requisition to order placement, is efficient and in compliance with established rules, regulations and policies. 3-Establish and maintain effective business relations with vendors, suppliers and trade professionals. 4-Develop and maintain an effective vendor selection program to be used to qualify vendors/suppliers. 5-Manage relationships with current suppliers and develop new relationships with future suppliers. 6-Negotiate pricing and vendor requirements. 7-Evaluate vendors/suppliers and maintain a vendor/supplier evaluation system. 8-Ensure price validity by inviting quotations for annual, monthly and instant requirements. 9-Ensure ordered material is received on time on regular follow up. 10-Assist and support departments with all purchasing processes. 11-Understands and applies all Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) personal and operational requirements. Qualifications & Skills: 1-Bachelor degree in engineering. 2-Minimum 8 years experience in Purchase. 3-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic & English. 4-Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
