Department Operations/Project Management Reports to Project Manager Purpose & Scope This position is responsible for renovation works with expertise in building renovation and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural integrity, building codes, and experience in managing both small- and large-scale renovation projects. You will be responsible for inspecting, planning, designing, and overseeing maintenance and renovation works. Main Duties & Responsibilities • Structural Assessments: Conduct evaluations of existing buildings to identify structural issues, deterioration, or necessary repairs. • Renovation Planning: Design and plan renovation projects, considering safety, aesthetics, and functionality while adhering to building codes and regulations. • Project Management: Oversee the renovation process, coordinating with contractors, architects, and clients to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion. • Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies to prolong the lifespan of building structures, addressing wear and tear issues. • Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates for renovation and maintenance projects, ensuring alignment with budgets while maintaining quality standards. • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all renovation and maintenance work comply with local building safety codes and regulations. Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering • 5+ years of experience in building renovation and maintenance projects within UAE. • Must have previous experience working with a reputable contractor in the UAE and familiar with local codes and standards 2 • Result oriented, ensures operational excellence in areas of responsibility and delivers best results • Takes active ownership of problems and provide timely and result focused solutions • Outcome-driven with strong communication skills. • Valid driving license is a plus. على من تنطبق عليه الشروط ارسال CV على الايميل التالي: jobs@jea.org.jo
