Senior Electrical Supervision Engineer Position Title: Senior Electrical Supervision Engineer Requisition Number: 4 Location: Jordan Job Summary: This requisition is for a design/supervision electrical engineer with experience in implementing power systems. The responsibilities of this engineer in Supervision are as follows: 1. Complete the design review process for all electrical works (LV, MV, HV); 2. Supervise the works of the contractor to ensure a quality construction is done; 3. Monitor the safety of the individuals at site and the site conditions, giving instructions to workers when necessary; 4. Coordinate daily meetings with the contractor to ensure organization and on-time delivery; and 5. Preparation of weekly reports including photos and status of each overall task. Minimum Requirements: • Electrical Engineering bachelor degree or above; • 8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering supervision and/or contracting; • Active registration in the Jordan Engineers Association; • Computer literacy; • Fluency with AutoCAD; • Fluency with electrical engineering drawings; • Excellent oral and written communication; • Ability to travel to or be stationed at site permanently for the duration of the project; • Have good interpersonal skills, teamwork skills and project management skills. Communication and coordination ability with the parties of the project, team building ability, strong execution ability; and • Ability to deal with difficult situations. Preferred Qualifications: • 11 years of experience in Electrical Engineering supervision for large infrastructure implementations; • Experience implementing photovoltaic systems into an existing substation (MV, HV); • Design review of photovoltaic systems and the requirements for such implementations; • Familiar with the Middle East local design regulations, has extensive experience in the design and comprehensive technical capabilities • Good analytical and problem-solving skills; and • Good history in dealing with contractors and client representatives.
