Department: QA / QC Overall Summary : The QA Engineer is the custodian of MIS Arabia’s QMS and the ultimate responsible for ensuring the compliance with ISO9001 and any other Management system implemented in MIS Arabia’s facility. Reporting To: QA / QC Manager Job Grade: 8 Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Directs the Quality Assurance program (i.e.: training, internal audits … etc). 2. Writes or reviews technical and performance specifications, quality levels, sampling plans, and inspections procedures (as needed). 3. Investigates complaints of non-conforming commodities and arranges for replacement or credit, when applicable. 4. Locates and approves independent testing facilities. 5. Reviews established Qualified Product Lists (Approved vendor list) for use by Procurement. 6. Writes section policies and monitoring programs, and enforces established policies and regulations. 7. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service (i.e.: Quality Objectives, Corrective/Preventive action … etc). 8. Involve in QC inspection as and when required. Hence there will be QC roll in addition to the QA main scope of responsibilities. Key Interactions: 1) QAE will deal with MIS Arabia’s customers and will be held responsible for achieving all customers’ valid recommendation. 2) QAE will be responsible for holding the QMS Orientation for newly hired personnel 3) QAE will carry out internal training sessions as needed for improvement purposes. Qualifications & Years of Experience: • Bachelor in an engineering discipline, preferable Mechanical/Industrial Engineering. • Lead or Internal QMS Auditor experience (3 years minimum). • Familiar with Saudi Aramco / SABIC Specification. • Quality inspection experience of hands on experience fabrication and welding of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
