Job Description Production Manager Core Purpose: Production Manager is fully responsible of all matters relating to production i.e. Planning, Staff, Machines, Materials and Safety etc. And ensure adequate implementation of production plans. Responsibilities: 1-Manage all functions relating to current manufacturing processes, manpower process management, new process justification and implementation, machines, equipment, tooling and working standards. 2-Plan, organizes, lead and control production within the responsible areas and ensuring the achievement of all related targets. 3-set up, implement, and maintain all manufacturing process standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement in plant performance. 4-Conduct daily production walks throughout the day to optimize production flow and efficiencies. May change work flow priorities as needed and works to resolve any problems that may occur. 5-Maximize the efficiency of Production Lines and ensure the effective utilization of all resources and manpower. 6-Coordinate and direct all activities of the manufacturing function, to include development of strategic plans and targets, scheduling & resource planning, tracking plans and results, reviewing and continuously improving team performance to achieve department objectives. 7-Coordinate with the Technical team to successfully plan and implement new product, equipment and process launches. 8-Provide leadership to supervision and employees and ensures they have the proper tools to perform their job safely and efficiently. 9-Ensure employees are properly trained in all aspects of their jobs to include safety, quality and production. Identify training gaps and develops training plans 10-Understands and applies all Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) personal and operational requirements. 11-Interfaces with customers and suppliers. Visits both as necessary. Qualifications & Skills: 1-Bachelor degree in Production Engineering or Chemical Engineering. 2-Minimum 10 years experience in Production. 3-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic & English. 4-Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. 5-Strong interpersonal, leadership and decision making skills.
